This latest update for Gotchi Guardians focuses on polishing and improving existing content while introducing new features like the in-game shop, G-Bucks, and a new Guardian, the Aarcher.
The Gotchi Guardians in-game shop is here, supported by G-Bucks, a new in-game currency.
Each 1,000 G-Bucks costs $0.99 USD. Currently, G-Bucks can only be purchased with GHST, with fiat as a payment method added soon.
What Can You Buy with G-Bucks?
Guardian Starter Packs are here to help you quick-start a Guardian, level up faster, and get some shiny new cosmetic items.
Each Starter Pack comes with themed rewards, including:
This release introduces three Guardian starter packs:
Starter Packs can be purchased in the Gotchi Guardians Shop using G-Bucks.
Note: Currently, the assets are not minted on-chain or tradable, but will be minted after the launch of Geist.
You can now emote in style by collecting stickers earned through badges or purchased from our new shop.
Each player can bring up to five stickers into a match. Want to add some randomness? Simply add the Random Sticker to one of your slots, and each time you open the sticker emote menu, it will randomly equip one sticker from your collection that you aren’t currently using!
Ever wonder what exactly SUS Nest does? Or what the special upgrade of Dire Tire is?
Now you can easily find this information in the Glossary, a comprehensive guide to all things Gotchi Guardians.
Additionally, it provides an easy way for you to review and select the cosmetics you want to bring into battle, making it a versatile tool for both learning and personalization in Gotchi Guardians.
The Aarcher has mastered the art of the bow, taking pride in their ability to hit a target from great distances with pinpoint accuracy.
The Aarcher is a long-range combat specialist, excelling at keeping threats at bay and dealing significant damage from a distance.
Tech Trees:
The SUS Nest has been completely rebalanced to provide more utility as a status-effect tower. The butterfly distribution has changed to a 3/6/9 format, with the tower now being significantly cheaper but dealing less damage. SUS Butterflies hit enemies, deal damage, and apply a slow effect before returning to the flower, offering a more dynamic and visually engaging attack.
Maagik Crystals Rework:
The market system has been updated with a clearer UI, showcasing the current market state—whether Ape, Bull, Crab, or Bear. All Bull Market towers across the level and among players share the same market state.
At the beginning of each match, the global investment value for the Bull Market is set to 0. As players spend money on Bull Market towers, this global investment value increases by the amount spent. When players sell their Bull Market assets, the global investment value decreases by the corresponding amount.
The market totems for all Bull Market towers shift depending on the current global investment value, visually representing the state of the market.
At the start of each round, the global investment value decreases by 25% or a minimum of 250, adding a dynamic element to the market's stability. In contrast, for a Bear Market, the reduction works in reverse.
The global investment value is capped, with a maximum of 2,000 and a minimum of -1,000, ensuring the market fluctuates within a defined range.
At the start of Round 6, the FOMOsaurus awakens and starts chasing the player. Simultaneously, a button appears, allowing players to spawn a higher-level FOMOsaurus (up to level 6) for all players. The cost to summon the next FOMOsaurus is halved once you’ve defeated your own, and players receive 40% of their spent income back when summoning higher-level FOMOsauruses.

Generally, we wanted to increase tower prices to give more rewards for players who get more $$. This should also make it harder to get max-level towers everywhere. As a consequence, we lowered the income from making towers.
